Building worlds made of stories...

... sparking imaginations and inspiring young people to unleash their creativity.

Matriark Theatre sees a future where art and storytelling are part of the everyday language of young people. Where creativity is valued as an essential part of life. We create work for and with young people because they are powerfully in touch with possibility and we believe this can change the world.

Matriark Theatre is a multi-disciplinary theatre org. We incorporate puppetry, digital media, interactive technology, physical theatre, animation, live music and more.

THINGS WE VALUE...

INCLUSIVE: make work for any and every young person.

ORIGINAL: champion new stories, forms, audiences.

LOCAL: work locally, build community.

INSPIRATIONAL: transform creative education.

SUSTAINABLE: model sustainability.

Make a donation.

We're a small company and we punch well above our weight - we'd love for you to join us in making a difference in the lives of young people everywhere.

As a Matriark donor (no matter how much you can contribute) you are directly helping us to grow and establish as an integral part of the future of Australian youth arts. Your support helps us:

  • Hire amazing artists to work alongside the young people in our programs.

  • Undertake ambitious projects, allowing us to take risks with the work we make.

  • Subsidise workshops & shows for young people that might not ordinarily access them.

  • Make a case to future funding bodies by showing public support for the work we do.

Please get in touch with us  if you'd like more information about donating to Matriark or you can use the portal below to make an instant donation.
